On Wednesday May 8th 2024, 4 security officers at the Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority were promoted to Constables while 1 Constable was promoted to Corporal. The short ceremony was chaired by the Human Resource Manager who gave some brief remarks congratulating the officers and reminding them that this promotion is only the first step towards many promotions in the future. Divisional Commander for District C (Nevis) of the Police Force, Superintendent Alanzo Carty was also in attendance and gave some brief remarks on the ethics and morals security personnel should have. Each of the officers took the oath of office for the Port Constable or Port Corporal which was administered by the Justice of Peace, Superintendent Alanzo Carty. The officers expressed their gratitude towards NASPA for allowing them this opportunity to be promoted. The newly promoted Constables at NASPA are Kiandra Herbert, Tishoncia Browne, Rawana Mohamed and Ishmeal Bangura. The newly promoted Corporal at NASPA is Trevin Mills.
